Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Logistics / Supply Chain Analyst to support its Transportation Operations Center (TOC). The role involves analyzing large datasets, monitoring performance metrics, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring smooth execution of transportation and supply chain operations. The candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to make data-driven decisions quickly, and excellent communication skills to interact with both internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

Communicate with external stakeholders (carriers, vendors, suppliers) and internal teams (retail, finance, fulfillment centers, software support). Extract and analyze data from multiple databases (Excel, SQL, Access, or other systems) to generate reports and insights. Develop and track performance metrics to drive improvements in business results. Gather and define business and functional requirements for technology teams to enhance software systems and tools used by TOC. Identify business trends, analyze their impact, and make data-driven decisions. Escalate operational problems or data variances to the relevant owners, and follow through to resolution. Work under time-sensitive deadlines to meet critical business needs. Prepare weekly reports and narratives, highlighting findings, variances, and recommendations. Provide real-time customer experience in a 24x7 operating environment.

Skills Required
