Testing Associate, Ring

Job Description

As a Test Associate at Amazon, you will be responsible for testing small components and features related to Amazon devices, applications, or services. The role requires following standard operating procedures (SOPs), executing assigned tasks daily, and reporting results accurately. You will also collaborate with peers, participate in training sessions, and contribute to process improvement.

Responsibilities

Execute predefined test cases on Amazon devices, applications, and services. Raise defects for failures observed and track clarifications as per defined mechanisms. Track daily execution status using recommended tools and provide regular status updates. Ensure productivity and quality baselines are consistently met. Acquire knowledge through on-the-job training, peers, and internal resources (SharePoint, Wiki, etc.). Participate in cross-training sessions and mandatory product team training. Share process improvement ideas to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Support and guide new hires to help them scale in their roles.

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Knowledge of QA methodologies and tools. Experience in testing consumer devices (preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to follow SOPs and test instructions accurately. Good documentation and reporting skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Quick learner with adaptability to new tools and processes.
