Responsibilities

Drive the design, development, and enhancement of core features and functionalities of our observability platform. Act as a subject matter expert and mentor for other software engineers, ensuring high-quality code and technical excellence. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring stability, scalability, and reliability of the platform. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying innovative solutions to enhance the platform. Promote a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional growth within the engineering team.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Development
  • Engineering
  • or a related field. 2–4 years of experience as a software engineer
  • working with Java and/or Go. Experience designing
  • developing
  • and maintaining large-scale software systems. Strong understanding of scalable distributed systems and microservices architecture. Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies: AWS
  • Azure
  • GCP
  • serverless
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Kafka. Soft Skills: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Passion for exploring new technologies and solving complex problems creatively. Ability to mentor and guide team members
  • fostering a culture of technical excellence. Bonus Points: Contributions to open-source projects. Experience building high-throughput pipelines and distributed systems. Prior experience with observability products
  • especially in the SaaS space.
