Job Description

As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as a software detective, troubleshooting and resolving issues within critical business systems. You will work to identify root causes, implement software patches, and support testing and quality assurance activities to ensure smooth business operations. Experience Required: 0–2 years Education: 15 years of full-time education (UG: B.Tech/B.E., PG: Any Postgraduate) Location: Bengaluru, India

Responsibilities

Build domain knowledge and support the team in troubleshooting activities. Identify, analyze, and resolve software-related issues within business systems. Participate in problem-solving discussions and root cause analysis for recurring issues. Implement software patches and updates to fix system problems. Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and lessons learned. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system problems. Assist in software testing and quality assurance, including functional and manual testing.

Skills Required

  • Must-Have Skills Functional Test Planning Strong understanding of software testing methodologies Experience with test case design and execution Knowledge of defect tracking and reporting tools Good-to-Have Skills Experience with test automation tools Manual testing
